Our school strives to:
1. help children grow into aware and responsible members of the Jewish community
2. help Jewish children achieve an understanding, appreciation and love for their heritage
3. strengthen Jewish identity
4. develop a sense of “Klal Yisrael”, nurturing a kinship with Jewish people throughout the
world5. stimulate a desire for in-depth study of Judaism as an on-going lifelong process
6. teach Bible at each grade level
7. help children follow and participate in the services of our prayer book
8. help children build an ethical approach to life based on their religious education
Our general core topics for the entire school include: Jewish customs and ceremonies, holiday cycle, Torah, Israel and its relationship with the American Jewish community, European and American Jewish life, introduction to Bible, current events.
