Preschool Programs

Dear Preschool Families,

It seems like just yesterday that school was ending and I was meeting many of you. Now camp is almost over and the teachers and I are getting ready for the new school year. I am so glad to have had the summer to get to know about half of the school and I can’t wait to get to really know the rest of you. So far, everyone has been so nice to me and it has been a pleasure discovering each of the children’s personalities.

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2.

Your child’s classroom teacher will be calling you in August to set up two appointments: the first will be the home visit with you and your child and the second will be special time in the classroom meeting the teacher and helping your child to feel comfortable. These are both equally important dates to help everyone make a smooth transition into school.

On Wednesday, August 27th, there will be an evening Parent Meeting. At that time, you will have the opportunity to talk with the teachers about the coming year, see a slide show of the children in school and meet the other parents. A separate notice of this event is included in this letter. I hope to see you all there.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding school, please do not hesitate to call me.

B’Shalom (With Peace),

Tamy Jacobs
